Dear Beloved!

 

I am delighted to welcome you to the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church, where I am honored to serve as the Pastor. Our church is one of nine United Methodist Churches in Mt. Airy, Maryland.

 

The Baltimore-Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church has designated Mt. Olive as a Sanctuary of Prayer and Service to the community since 1870. The church has a membership of over 50 families. Since July 1, it has welcomed more than a thousand families and visitors from within the church community and the broader global community. Notable visitors include the District Superintendent, Rev. Dawn Hand, district and Carroll County preachers, Washington, DC, Virginia guests, and other international guest preachers.

 

Our church has a reputation for being a pillar of service in the surrounding community. We take pride in our partnership with the Learn-with-Me program, which provides educational opportunities for young ages, and our exercise classes that promote healthy living. Furthermore, we are dedicated to partnering with other community programs catering to various needs. We invite you to explore our website and discover all we offer.
